TBD Conference returns in 2026 with its eighth edition, and the theme is Vanta. For those unfamiliar with the term, Vanta black is the darkest substance ever created, absorbing almost all light that touches it. As a lens for where we are right now, it felt honest. There is a lot being absorbed at the moment and not much being reflected back with any clarity.
The conference will be held at a location we are keeping under wraps for now, which is in keeping with the TBD tradition of making the experience part of the point. What we can share is the speaker list as it stands, and it is already covering the ground that matters: where technology, behaviour and trust are pulling in different directions at the same time.
