'Disruptive Technologies' now available in Japanese

April 1, 2026

Disruptive Technologies is now available in Japanese, published in April 2026 and bringing the total number of languages the book exists in to ten.

The Japanese edition is worth noting for more than the milestone. The cover is genuinely beautiful, produced with traditional binding that makes it feel like an object worth owning rather than a business book you pick up in an airport. For a book about technology, there is something appropriate about a version of it being made with that kind of care.

The Chinese edition arrived in January 2025, and the progression from there to Japanese reflects where the conversations about disruptive technology are actually happening most urgently. Paul's framework for understanding, evaluating and responding to disruption has found readers in ten languages now, which suggests the problem it addresses does not translate differently depending on where you are reading it.

The Japanese edition is available on Amazon Japan.
